Kwik Kopy has appointed a new head of franchising, Peter Fiasco. A career-long franchising professional, Fiasco joins the print firm after five years at Snap Printing, most recently as general manager franchising.

Fiasco previously spent four years as national franchise development manager with Hairhouse. Before that he clocked up eight years leading franchise development at Quest.

Fiasco joined Kwik Kopy late last month. He told Franchise Executives “I believe in the vision of this brand, and where the leadership team want to take it.”

He praised the group for creating the brand vision based on feedback from franchisees.

“It really impressed me. It’s completely driven from the bottom up. They’ve pulled the best of what’s out there and shaped it into a manifesto.

“I know what I can contribute to this vision, and I’m really excited about.”

Kwik Kopy head of franchising role is broad-based

Fiasco said his new role is wide-ranging, rather than solely focused on recruiting new franchisees.

“It’s looking at the franchise systems to ensure they are aligned to the way we want to communicate with franchisees, realigning the learning development system, and ongoing learning development. It’s also about developing people within the brand, not just the franchisees, but the franchisee staff too.

“The great thing is it’s a cross-sectional role, working side-by-side, collaborating with a team to find the best way to achieve outcomes. Everyone is on the same path, and that’s really exciting.”

Initially Fiasco will focus on the basics and ensuring the foundations are right before moving on to a bigger strategy.

Sonia Shwabsky, Kwik Kopy CEO, said ““Peter is a true franchising professional with genuine excitement and passion for the industry. Bringing his extraordinary franchising mind, business acumen, and relevant industry experience to Kwik Kopy is the last piece of our leadership puzzle. We are now set up to shape our business strategy and start focusing on our exciting future.”

Fiasco’s in-depth franchising knowledge, system transformation expertise, and growth mindset aligns with the Kwik Kopy growth plans, she said.
