Laser Clinics has inked a deal with Singapore’s Privé Clinic which will take the Aussie brand into Asia, with the backing of global investment firm KKR.

The deal will see the clinic rebranded Laser Clinics Singapore at Privé on Orchard Road.

Laser Clinics chief executive officer John Veitch said the Asian launch sets up the path for further expansion.

“There is untapped potential for a global leader like Laser Clinics to enter the Asian market with a truly tailored offering,” he said. “This partnership offers us a flagship presence in Singapore, combining in-depth knowledge of the diverse Asian customer profile with the global scale and deep experience of the leader in non-invasive aesthetics.

Veitch said the Asian rollout will be directed by Sona Rai Aggarwal, Laser Clinic’s general manager of Asia, who is “well-versed in leading companies into the Asian market and beyond”.

As yet there is no indication where the brand will extend its footprint beyond Singapore.

Veitch said “With the surge in consumer demand for aesthetics treatments throughout the region, we are considering all markets carefully. We believe that Privé Clinic, as one of the city’s most renowned and high-quality aesthetics clinics, is the right partner to seize opportunities and strengthen our globally focused ambitions.”

Sona Rai Aggarwal [pictured above right with Dr Karen Soh, clinic director and medical director for Laser Clinics Singapore] said Singaporeans will welcome the quality and price transparency of the new clinic’s treatment offering.

“In what has traditionally been a fragmented and opaque market, we anticipate Laser Clinics’ value-driven pricing approach to aesthetic treatments will be disruptive,” she said.

Since opening its first clinic in 2008 in Australia, Laser Clinics has expanded rapidly and now numbers more than 165 clinics across Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
