Kellie Cranch, formerly RFG’s GM partner development, has joined Poolwerx’ senior leadership team as chief of franchise development.

Poolwerx chief operating officer Nic Brill said “Kellie has been an outstanding leader in the Australian business and franchising world for over a decade, including having walked the walk in franchise partners’ shoes, so we’re incredibly excited to bring her outstanding industry experience to the Poolwerx family.

“Importantly, as our network continues to grow year on year in scale, and off the back of a marked increase in the number of incoming enquiries, we needed to invest in an industry leader who could help manage that increased workload and ensure it was serviced to the highest standard; Kellie will absolutely do that.”

Cranch left Retail Food Group after seven years with the multi-brand food franchisor.

She told Inside Franchise Business Executive “I’m excited to join John [O’Brien] and the team at Poolwerx to assist franchisees expand whilst also introducing new people to its award winning brand.”

Last year the global franchise pool service brand founded by Australian CEO and entrepreneur John O’Brien in 1992 appointed two senior executives to head up technology and innovation and brought in former Subway executive Tracy Steinwand to the board.

“Over the last two years, Poolwerx has continued to invest heavily in the development of our senior leadership team and team and restructure it in order to provide further opportunities for our existing franchise partners to grow and develop, and increased support structures,” said Brill.

“Kellie’s appointment will take that commitment to the next level and demonstrates our commitment to innovation and excellence.”
