Choice Hotels Asia-Pac has expanded its Tasmanian footprint with four properties in Hobart’s historic waterfront and Salamanca precinct joining the network.
The Lenna Group has brought Lenna of Hobart, Salamanca Suites, Salamanca Terraces and Hobart Waterfront Apartments into the Choice group.
Lenna Group director Lloyd Clark said the move enables the properties to stay independent while boosting awareness.
Choice Hotels Asia-Pac’s head of investments and portfolio growth, Trent Conroy, said, “The addition strengthens our presence in this important market while showcasing the power of Choice Hotels’ global reservation and distribution platform.”
Choice Hotels Asia-Pac has more than 360 hotels in its portfolio across six brands: the Ascend Collection, Clarion, Quality, Comfort and Econo Lodge. The group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Choice Hotels International.
