After a successful pilot, Retail Food Group is launching Donut King’s delivery service into Queensland stores before a national rollout starting in July and August.

About 50 per cent of the network in Queensland signed up to the ecommerce solution, Donut King Occasions.

The delivery service provides franchisees with an incremental revenue stream with minimal additional labour and has an average transaction value 3.8 x higher than in-store purchases.

Stores will act as mini-factories fulfilling the orders; RFG is responsible for the ecommerce, delivery and service and earns franchise service and ecommerce fees.

Customers can shop from five categories: occasion, flavour, corporate, catering or best sellers and add extras such as balloons, edible messages and personalised box sleeves.

Online orders on dkoccasions.com.au up to 4pm are ready for next-day delivery from the nearest participating store. Each store can service an area of up to 10km.

Donut King Occasions is a key element of RFG’s multibrand eComm strategy which began with the launch of Rackā€™em Bones BBQ Ribs in FY24.
