Express Employment Professionals has launched a limited-time franchise buying incentive, a 40 per cent reduction in the $40,000 franchise fee.

The discounted deal coincides with the US-based firm’s 40th anniversary. The business was fully launched in Australia in 2020.

Colin Ongley is general manager of Express Employment Professionals in Australia and New Zealand.

He said “This 40 per cent reduction on the franchise fee is a fantastic incentive. It recognises and celebrates that as an organisation we are steeped in history, which is something to be proud of. This is our way of giving back, providing the opportunity to join one of the world’s most successful staffing brands at an enviable price.”

New franchisees taking advantage of the offer can expect to pay between $146,000 and $226,000 for a franchise. Franchise buyers need to sign up and open the doors to their business before 15 March 2024.

Ongley believes this one-off fee reduction will benefit ambitious would-be business owners seeking to make a difference to both the organisation and to job seekers.

“Our franchisees are great communicators because selling an intangible service like recruitment is quite different to selling a product. Our model suggests our owners need to be active, they need to do most of the selling and recruiting activity,” he said.

“This is a people game by nature, so franchisees need to be at ease, and thrive, forging deep and meaningful relationships in the community.”

Express Employment in 2022 was listed by Staffing Industry Analysts just outside its top 10 rankings. It was named the 11th largest staffing firm globally. It has 860 locations in five countries.

In 2021 Express Employment recorded its best year in the brand’s history, which included its first US$1 billion quarter. Last year’s revenue was US $4.46 billion.

This year the brand gained a ‘Great Place to Work’ certification.
