Harcourts International has appointed a new chief financial officer from within its ranks, promoting Kelly Podlich to the executive role.
Podlich has worked with the Harcourts Group since 2010 when she joined the firm as a project accountant.
Podlich brings experience in financial strategy, complex business structures, consolidated reporting, international tax, treasury management, contract negotiations, business process transformation and system implementations.
“My focus for the year ahead centres around redefining our finance strategy, ensuring we deliver on improved data insights and reporting to enable quicker decision making and support our leaders and business owners in achieving their growth plans,” she said.
Mike Green, managing director, Harcourts International, said Podlich’s skills extend beyond finance.
“Kelly has been a key part of our team for almost 14 years and instrumental in our growth and evolution as a business.
“Kelly’s professional skills and pragmatic approach to solving business problems as well as her ability to connect with her team and the wider network drive our profitable, sustainable growth agenda and made it an incredibly easy choice,” he said.
Podlich said “I pride myself on not being your typical accountant and believe that putting people first, working hard and developing strong relationships has been the key to my success to date.”
