The services-based Jim’s Group has once again struck out into a new industry, announcing Jim’s Personal Training as its newest division.
And to accelerate the rollout of Jim’s Personal Training, the business is giving away five franchises for free.
Jim’s Personal Training is the latest in a personal services offer that launched with the short-lived Jim’s Beauty division. The fitness business joins the life coaching and healthcare divisions that stand out from the household services on which the group has built its business.
“The needs of our customers have changed,” Jim’s Group founder Jim Penman said. “They still need services for the home, but they also want services to support their whole lifestyle as well. We are listening and responding with solutions backed by high quality trained experts and our nationwide service guarantee.”
The mobile fitness service aims to bring personal health solutions directly to people’s homes, parks and communities.
Alex Zeissner, a longtime team member at Jim’s Group headquarters in Melbourne, is heading up the Jim’s Personal Training division.
“The Jim’s Group is trusted. We are a household name. Our people are police checked, trained and backed by comprehensive insurance and other service guarantees,” Zeissner said.
“Many people who want their lawns mowed or their house cleaned also want help to lose weight, build strength and feel better in their bodies and they want convenience, flexibility and great service. People want a lifestyle shift, not a gym membership,” he said.
To operate a Jim’s Personal Training business, franchisees will need a Cert III and IV in Fitness. They will receive a start-up pack with includes branded apparel, client tracking tools, insurance, equipment and accessories.
