Just Cuts has partnered with leading mental health awareness and support provider AccessEAP to give franchise owners, stylists and staff access to a range of counselling services, tools and resources.
Employee Assistance Programs include confidential counselling that can help resolve personal issues that may have an impact on an employee’s performance.
Amber Manning, Just Cuts CEO, said the challenges of 2020 have served to emphasise the importance of mental and physical wellbeing.
“At Just Cuts we are committed to doing what we can to support healthy and thriving workplaces and teams. We are therefore very pleased to be partnering with AccessEAP,” she said.
“Through the AccessEAP app our salon owners, stylists and staff will have access to a range of great tools and support to help overcome daily challenges, manage stress and be the best they can be at life and work.”
The app enables users to access wellbeing tools and resources based on individual preferences, goals and interests and check-in regularly to monitor their wellbeing journey with the Wellbeing Tracker.
AccessEAP CEO Sally Kirkright wants to encourage more employers to think about ways they can support their staff.
“Every sector across our country is moving through a period of rapid change. It has never been more important to provide staff and teams with the tools and support they need to successfully navigate change and protect their mental health,” she said.
AccessEAP is an Australian owned and not-for-profit organisation which has been providing Employee Assistance Programs since 1989 with more than 1,000 qualified counsellors. The company’s surplus profit supports children’s welfare programs and indigenous children at risk in the community through the Curran Access Children’s Foundation.
