Brenton Howie, CEO of Schnitz Australia, is to exit his role from the food franchise on 10 March 2025.
Howie will pursue a new opportunity in the manufacturing industry after spending five and a half years at the family-owned schnitzel chain.
Schnitz announced Howie’s departure on LinkedIn and thanked him for being instrumental in guiding the business.
“He has helped in forging strong relationships with many of our stakeholders with a compassionate and dynamic approach, growing the counter fronts and restaurant footprint and our brand presence in Australia,” the announcement read.
Schnitz now has 80 restaurants across Australia and is looking to expand further within Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.
The Dyduk family, which owns the business, and the board of directors expressed gratitude for Howie’s leadership and “his unwavering dedication and vision”.
Co-founder Tom Dyduk, takes on the interim CEO role while the search for a permanent successor is underway.
