Muffin Break has again topped Roy Morgan’s annual Customer Satisfaction Awards, scoring the title of Coffee Shop of the Year 2023.

This is the fifth time the Foodco-owned chain has won the award.

Muffin Break’s CEO Richard Goodman said he was delighted to receive the award on behalf of Muffin Break’s franchisees.

“Thank you for this terrific recognition which acknowledges our franchisees efforts, and we celebrate this award on their behalf,” he said.

The Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards are based on the independent research agency’s ongoing Single Source survey in Australia of over 60,000  consumers annually. This data is used to determine the annual winners of the Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards.

The awards were held in Victoria, and Steve Johns – State Franchise Business Manager, Victoria – and James Wadsworth – Foodco Franchise Business Coach, Victoria – accepted the award for the brand.

Wadsworth recently won the FCA Field Coach of the Year, VIC State Award.

Muffin Break has a franchise network of more than 140 locations in Australia. It is in expansionist mode, and has a limited time offer for new franchisees. Franchise buyers who sign up to a brand new Muffin Break store before 30 June 2024 receive a $40k kick-start to the business.
