Muffin Break supports Share the Dignity

The most popular Share the Dignity Muffin is returning to mark the fifth year of support for the national Australian charity.

Since 2018, Muffin Break has been helping women in need in local communities through its partnership with Share the Dignity. This year the company will donate $1 for every special Share the Dignity muffin sold – and it is also doubling the fundraising possibilities by collecting donations from their Berry White Chocolate Duffin.

The Share the Dignity muffin is topped with pink cream cheese icing drizzled with melted white chocolate and finished with a white chocolate disk, half a fresh strawberry and a Charlie’s Fine Food Co. mini Raspberry Bliss Melting Moment. It will be available in stores nationwide from August 3rd to August 30th as well as through delivery partner Menulog.

Helping women maintain their dignity

Share the Dignity is on a mission to ensure every woman is afforded the dignity so many of us take for granted. The charity makes a real, on-the-ground difference to women experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence or dealing with period poverty. Thanks to the generosity of the community, it collects and distributes tens of thousands of period and incontinence products every year.

Since launching the partnership, Muffin Break has raised over $50,000 to support the work of the charity, which includes installing Dignity Vending Machines throughout regional Australia. These dispense free period packs which allow girls and women to manage their period without cost.

“Every year I am delighted to see and, of course, taste the new Share the Dignity muffin created by the wonderful and generous team at Muffin Break,” said Rochelle Courtenay, founder of Share the Dignity. “Not only does Muffin Break support us through this incredible fundraiser they also do important work in creating awareness of period poverty and the needs of so many women and girls doing it tough in communities nationwide.”
