Poolwerx has awarded its top performers at an awards ceremony at a three-day convention held in Fiji.
Poolwerx CEO Nic Brill said the convention attracted 400 delegates.
“With a challenging economic and business climate over the last 12 months, we recognise that for some of our partners, it has been tough. This is why our Poolwerx Convention theme, Move As One, was so important—it’s a reminder to everyone that no matter what is going on out there, together, we are one family cohort that will always support each other.
“Our theme embodies a powerful message, a clear understanding of our individual roles in achieving our common goal, and a commitment to grow together, allowing us all to embrace the challenges that lie ahead, confident in our ability to overcome them, together.
“Individually, we recognised some remarkable talent within our ranks, and collectively, we witnessed our franchise network continue to grow stronger.”
Poolwerx award winners 2023
Soibhone and Alessandro Nascimento from Poolwerx Kalamunda, WA were named Poolwerx 2023 Franchise Partner of the Year. This award recognises outstanding achievements across a number of categories.
“It’s a family affair at Poolwerx Kalamunda, and their journey with Poolwerx has been nothing short of exceptional. We couldn’t be prouder to award them our 2023 Franchise Partner of the Year.
“Their outstanding contribution to the network both local in Western Australia and nationally, has seen them awarded across multiple categories, including business growth, recruitment, leadership, and innovation have set her apart as an industry trailblazer,” Brill said.
“Soibhone and Alessandro’s dedication to excellence, coupled with their strategic vision and problem-solving acumen, has propelled their business to new heights, managing two successful stores. The team has not only embraced our core values but has elevated them through their actions and accomplishments and we can’t wait to see what else this family powerhouse goes on to achieve.”
Almost 30 awards for Poolwerx high achievers
Poolwerx celebrated the achievements of franchisees, store teams, employees and supply partners with almost 30 awards.
Among the awards:
- Retail Store of the Year, Poolwerx Turramurra, NSW
- New Retail Store of the Year, Tauranga, Poolwerx Bay of Plenty, NZ
- Brand Excellence, Poolwerx Upper North Shore, Prue and Malcolm Price, NSW
- Innovation and Entrepreneurial Excellence, Poolwerx Kalamunda, Soibhone and Alessandro Nascimento, WA
- Franchise Woman of the Year, Poolwerx Kurri Kurri, Megan Goode, NSW
- Business Development Manager of the Year, Western Australia, Tony Campbell, WA.
The pool business also raised money through the convention and Poolwerx’ Family Welfare Fund for two water tanks for a local village and school in Fiji.
