Mobile tool retailer Snap-on Tools has raised more than $212,000 for the McGrath Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Snap-on’s Socket to Breast Cancer initiative in partnership with the charity was supported by franchisees and customers across the country. The money raised will be donated to the McGrath Foundation to help fund Breast Care Nurses who provide essential care and support to individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
The sale of Snap-on’s limited-edition Pink Tool Sets were boosted with customer and franchisee donations. The total added up to a fundraising milestone just shy of Snap-on’s ambitious target of $250,000.
Adam Wright, national marketing and product manager, Snap-on Tools says, “People have rallied behind the Socket to Breast Cancer initiative with all our franchisees and customers digging deep and raising much-needed funds and awareness for breast cancer. We are so grateful to see such support and generosity in the local communities in which we operate”.
