Anytime Fitness is once again partnering the Ability Fest, an inclusive and accessible music festival founded by Paralympic gold medallist and 2022 Australian of the Year, Dylan Alcott.

All proceeds from the music event go to the Dylan Alcott Foundation, which funds scholarships, sports initiatives and entrepreneurial programs for young Australians with disability. Since it launched in 2018, the Ability Fest has raised more than $1.5 million.

As part of this year’s festival in Melbourne, Anytime Fitness will bring its vibrant Glitter Bar activation, designed to celebrate self-expression, colour and individuality, and provide secure locker facilities for attendees.

The gym chain’s marketing lead, Billie Hutchison, said “At Anytime Fitness, our ambition is to be the most welcoming and inclusive fitness community in Australia. Our partnership with Ability Fest, and our ongoing work with the Dylan Alcott Foundation through Shift 20, reflects our belief that inclusion should be visible, intentional and embedded in everything we do – from our clubs to our broader communities.”

Shift 20 is a national movement driving greater representation of people with disability across media and marketing.

Dylan Alcott said “At the foundation, we’re incredibly proud of the work we do across Shift 20 and Ability Fest with Anytime Fitness and appreciate their continued support to empowering the lives of young Australians with disability.”
