Dog-grooming business Aussie Pooch Mobile has been awarded five stars by the Australian Franchise Rating Scale, becoming the first pet services brand to achieve such a high ranking.
The 31-year-old franchise business was able to secure the high rating by demonstrating a high level of transparency and a very strong level of franchise performance.
The ratings are awarded by franchise business intelligence and information advisory business FRANdata after an independent assessment of the business across seven categories.
Aussie Pooch Mobile managing director Paul Walters said “We are delighted to achieve a 5-star rating following this external and independent review of our franchise system. Our focus has always been on partnering with people well suited to the franchise and then working hard every day to help them maximise their success as small business owners”.
FRANdata’s Australian CEO, Darryn McAuliffe, said “a standout feature of the Aussie Pooch Mobile franchise System was its success in positioning of franchisees for success from day one. A disciplined recruitment process and a highly effective initial training program were both evident.
“With strong follow up support practices and sound financial performance it was no surprise to find proof of healthy satisfaction levels across the franchisee network.”
There are almost 30 franchise brands now across a variety of sectors who have been awarded 4-stars and 5-stars on the Australian Franchise Rating Scale, and a few more brands in the pipeline.
Quest Apartment Hotels was in 2019 the first Australian franchise to be rated 5-star; it has since retained its high-performance ranking in successive years.
