Functional fitness chain Fitstop is expanding its head office team, with CEO Peter Hull recruiting for six roles including general manager for its recently launched New Zealand business.

Five of the six roles are new additions and take the Fitstop team from 17 to 22 full time positions in the office.

The Aussie business, which Lift Brands invested in mid-2021, has ramped up its recruitment to ensure it is ahead of the demands of the growing franchise footprint.

Founder and CEO Hull told Inside Franchise Business Executive, “We’re currently going through a huge growth period at Fitstop, after opening our 68th location at the end of 2021 and preparing for an international launch.”

In New Zealand a Hamilton central studio will open at the end of the month, with 12 further outlets already sold.
“In 2022 Fitstop will hit the triple digits with a clear focus on Australia and New Zealand reaching 100+strong franchises open,” said Hull.

“Our theme for this year is “Stronger together” and our new operational rhythm of introducing clusters of owners who will meet monthly to support each other. The introduction of our network benchmarking has been very valuable to our network holding accountability and providing education for a growing network.”

In addition to the GM role in New Zealand, key hires are a senior marketing manager, franchise sales and a data analyst to ensure we continue to grow in all the right ways.

Fitstop also has a vacancy for a franchise sales support person and a leasing coordinator.
