Franchise-focused research, ratings and consulting firm FRANdata has appointed a franchise research manager for its Sydney office.

Appointee Alka Sinha was a key contributor to the research output of FRANdata’s Arlington, VA research team in the US.

She is an experienced researcher and project manager, specialising in strategic and financial consulting. Sinha has led several projects including market entry advisory, mergers and acquisitions support, operational best practices, and market due diligence.

Darryn McAuliffe, FRANdata’s Australian CEO, said Sinha’s skills will prove invaluable.

“Sinha will oversee the growing number of research projects being commissioned by our Australian and international client base. While the opportunities in Australian franchising are significant it has never been more important to understand the market as it stands and the direction in which it is heading.
