Breakfast at KFC is coming to the Gold Coast and Melbourne following a successful trial at Sydney Airport.
Sixteen restaurants across the Gold Coast and 13 restaurants in Melbourne CBD will serve a morning menu from 6am.
Vanessa Rowed, CMO at KFC Australia, said the brand is staying true to its entrepreneurial spirit while continuing to reinvent to suit ever-changing consumer preferences and habits.
“We know Australians love their breakfast, and following the successful trial of KFC morning meals at Sydney Airports, we’re excited to roll out our new menu and give customers even more ways to enjoy KFC throughout the day,” Rowed said.
New ingredients to the KFC pantry include fresh avocado and sweet and smoky tomato relish.
Turkish buns feature on the menu filled with bacon and egg; bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato; Original Crispy chicken fillet with bacon and egg; and Original Crispy fillet with cheese and sauce.
Fans can also tuck into Avo Toast, the Ultimate Brekkie Wrap, Bacon & Egg Pockets, the mighty Brekkie Tower and KFC Hash Browns.
KFC is also adding a range of hot beverages – black tea, hot chocolate and a range of coffees, from espresso to cappuccino.
