Ray White Commercial has promoted James Linacre, its head of commercial for Australia and New Zealand, to the CEO role.

Dan White, managing director of Ray White Group, said Linacre’s elevation to CEO reflects his commitment and ambition.

“James has created significant momentum in our commercial network.  The quality of his leadership has been evidenced in the talent he has attracted, his impact on our collective performance and development, and the shared spirit of our members,” White said.

“He is very deserving of this opportunity, and I know how determined he is to take Ray White Commercial into its next horizon of growth.”

Linacre will oversee the brand’s continued performance trajectory and further international expansion.

He joined the fourth generation family real estate business in 2022 as a business development executive.

Linacre has helped expand the network through targeted recruitment of high-quality operators and a renewed focus on skill development. The growth has expanded the national footprint and strengthened the depth and capability of its leading businesses.

“Ray White is truly a special place to work and develop professionally,” Linacre said. “To be entrusted with leading our commercial business is an honour I do not take lightly,” he added.

“Our ambition remains clear. We will continue to expand thoughtfully, attract the best operators in the market and invest in the capability of our people so they can outperform in their respective markets.”
