Specsavers has been recognised as one of Australia’s Best Workplaces for 2025 by Great Place to Work, taking out the fourth spot in the large business category. The accolade marks Specsavers’ third consecutive year on the list.

Dominic Savill, Specsavers’ retail director ANZ said “Being named one of Australia’s Best Workplaces for the third year running – and to be the only retailer on the list – is an incredible achievement.

“It’s a testament to the passion and dedication of our people, from our store partners and team members to our support office. This recognition reinforces that when we invest in our people, we’re also investing in the experience we deliver to our customers. A great workplace culture translates directly into great customer care,” he said.

Specsavers has more than 400 stores across Australia, providing eye and hearing care.

Savill said the recognition helps attract values-aligned talent.

“Internally, it’s boosted pride and sparked deeper conversations about culture, leadership, and what it means to be a truly great place to work.

“Across the Specsavers network, store partners have embraced the recognition as a catalyst for connection and engagement, using it to foster open dialogue, build inclusive workplaces, and create a shared sense of ownership in shaping the future of the business.”

The Best Workplaces in Australia List is compiled through rigorous analysis of confidential employee feedback and organisational culture.

This year’s assessment captured insights from 158,749 Australian employees across all sectors and organisation sizes – making it the largest evaluation of workplace culture in Australia’s history.
