Studio Pilates International has opened its 100th studio worldwide. The landmark studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota, is also the seventh in the US.

Founders Jade and Tanya Winter have grown the business from its Brisbane home-base to a five-country footprint. Studio Pilates International operates in Australia, New Zealand, China, the US, and the UK – with plans for Canada by mid-2024.

The global expansion continues with another 55 studios set to open, including Orange County, Nashville, London and Toronto.

The first London studio to open is in Putney, with another site set for south east England this winter.

Jade Winter told Franchise Executives “With our Putney studio generating over 2,000 leads prior to opening, we’re excited to see the exceptional demand for our offering in the London market.”

A year ago Studio Pilates International (SPI) predicted a 130-studio footprint.

“We don’t feel we’re too far behind target as we now have 100 studios open and 55 more on our rollout across five countries,” he said.

“The current SPI policy is to operate our franchises in each country with a combination of company employed personnel living in the country together with central services provided by our global support office in Brisbane.

“We do not offer master franchises or sub licences as we prefer to support our franchisees directly,” he said.

Last year the studio business boosted revenue by 24 per cent, year on year.
