The former Anytime Fitness GM, Gordon Martin, has been appointed head of franchising at Viva Leisure, and tasked with growing its Plus Fitness chain to more than 300 studios.
Viva Leisure acquired Australian Fitness Management, the Plus Fitness franchisor, in August 2020 in a deal worth more than $18m. Right now the network has 200+ locations in Australia, New Zealand and India.

Martin brings to his new role experience in operations, sales, performance, and leadership, and is expected to play an instrumental role in the growth and development of all brands across the Viva Leisure portfolio which includes Club Lime, hiit republic, Fit n Fast and Pinnacle Health Clubs.
