JAX Tyres & Auto has extended its remote video vehicle checks program to NSW customers following the initiative’s implementation in Melbourne last year.
The program was introduced in response to customer concerns over vehicle maintenance during Stage 4 lockdowns at the time.
Steve Grossrieder, CEO and executive director of JAX Tyres & Auto, said the initiative had been welcomed not just by customers in Victoria but from industry peers around the country and overseas.
“The JAX Video Vehicle Checks combine the best capabilities of our digital platform and knowledge of our store teams, so all of our customers regardless of their circumstances can get the expert help they need.
“Giving our customers peace of mind about vehicle maintenance, especially in the current environment, drives every business decision we make,” he said.
“We remain committed to delivering high-quality, innovative and flexible retail services through new technologies and first-rate industry expertise within our franchise network,” said Grossrieder.
The video vehicle checks complement a range of concurrent community support initiatives from the tyre retailer and mechanical service provider to combat ongoing Covid-19 developments.
This includes JAX Zero Service Contact, the in-store measures taken to reinforce store teams’ commitment to customer health and safety, as well as offering customers who make pre-bookings for post-lockdown servicing a free in-store JAX Vehicle Inspection and 10 per cent off for post-lockdown services, to help offset potential financial burdens experienced in lockdown.
Late last year JAX Tyres & Auto revealed its customer experience transformation had significantly boosted business. As a result of new measures, the previous best sales performance was surpassed by a massive 22 per cent.
