The Priceline Sisterhood Foundation is set to reach its $10 million fundraising milestone this month with the launch of a new ‘Sisterhoodies’ campaign.
The Priceline Sisterhood Foundation raises funds for Charity Partners Dementia Australia, Motherless Daughters Australia, PANDA and Raise Foundation. From 1 to 27 July, visitors to a Priceline or Priceline Pharmacy store who make a donation by rounding up their purchase by $3 can enter a draw to win one of 400 exclusive Sisterhoodies.
One hundred per cent of funds raised are distributed to the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation’s Charity Partners.
Meaningful designs
Designed by Priceline Ambassador Chrissie Swan and her lifelong bestie, fashion designer Rebecca Thompson, (pictured) the Sisterhoodies range includes four unique designs and colours to celebrate and champion women, and symbolise the love, compassion, strength and support that underpins the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation.
“Rebecca and I had loads of fun designing our collection of Sisterhoodies,” Swan said. “I can’t wait to see Australians wearing our designs this winter, and their hearts on their sleeves, all while raising money for causes that need our support.”
Inspired by Sir Bob Geldof
The Priceline Sisterhood Foundation was formed in 2011 after Sir Bob Geldof spoke at a Priceline Pharmacy event about his two decades of charity work. Its purpose is to give back to the community and, specifically, to provide support to women and their families.
Richard Vincent, Priceline Sisterhood Foundation Chairman and CEO and Managing Director of API, Priceline’s parent company, said: “It fills me with pride when I see the generosity of Australians and the commitment of our 470-plus Priceline teams to supporting the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation every year.
“We say Priceline is ‘A Festival of You’, and we’d like to think our impact extends beyond our stores to all Australian women and their families. Chrissie and Rebecca’s Sisterhoodies are a touching representation of the most basic human needs – connection and friendship – and that’s certainly worth celebrating.”
