The Cheesecake Shop has given a playful nod to the world of romantic intrigue with its limited-edition dessert collection, The Ton’s Treat Box, in partnership with the Netflix series Bridgerton.
The Ton’s Treat Box features macaroons, cheesecake sticks, cupcakes and cheesecake lamingtons in a pastel colour palette with sprinkles of gold dust and dried flower petals.
As the blockbuster series returns with its fourth series, The Cheesecake Shop has also lifted the lid on modern-day secrets with a survey to find out how Australians are watching, sharing and indulging at home.
While the research reveals Aussies’ dating habits, secrets and scandals – including group chat betrayals and sharing gossip – it also found that 60 per cent of Australians believe enjoying sweet treats while watching hit tv shows enhances the experience; four in 10 regard a shared dessert is essential to a new season viewing party.
The Cheesecake Shop chief marketing officer Rebecca Barnes said the findings reflect a broader cultural shift toward turning big TV moments into occasions at home.
“As event TV returns, Australians are making more of the moments they share at home, whether it’s a viewing party, a girls’ night in or settling in for a new season launch. Dessert plays a big role in that ritual, bringing people together around something indulgent and shared.”
