Hungry Jack’s today fired a salvo into the fried chicken market introducing a brand new range of burgers on its menu.

According to a Hungry Jack’s YouGov study in September 2021 more than 2.2 million Aussies eat fried chicken several times a week or at least once a day.

The burger brand’s chief marketing officer Scott Baird said the survey showed 85 per cent of those surveyed believed fried chicken burgers in Australia could be improved.

“We know Aussies are craving bigger, juicier fried chicken burgers, so Hungry Jack’s is taking the lead with the biggest, thickest, and juiciest fried chicken available,” he said.

Jack’s Fried Chicken was put through over two years of rigorous testing; the resulting burger range uses whole-breast chicken fillets and brioche buns. Hungry Jack’s claims the burger is 40 per cent bigger than its closest rival.

The range of three burgers is available nationally from today as pick-up in-store, collect at drive-thru or order online for delivery on the Hungry Jack’s App or through Menulog, Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
