Aramex Australia CEO Peter Lipinski has been promoted to the role of Aramex Oceania CEO.

The global, publicly listed business purchased the Fastway Couriers delivery network in 2016 to capitalise on the region’s booming e-commerce market. The rebrand of Fastway to Aramex in 2020 marked the final milestone of the acquisition.

As Aramex Australia CEO, Lipinski oversaw the rebrand across the Australian network of 27 regional franchisees and more than 800 franchisees.

He has successfully led the business through record growth across the network, facing the challenges associated with the pandemic and exponential growth of e-commerce delivery.

“The delivery sector has been experiencing significant growth for many years. Transport and logistics has never been more critical. I’m proud to be stepping into the Aramex Oceania CEO role and look forward to driving more expansion and delivery innovation across the region to support our customers, our people and our network,” he said.

Aramex Group CEO Othman Aljeda said “With Peter’s strategic guidance and leadership in recent years, Aramex Australia has expanded and successfully navigated the challenges and growing delivery demand generated by Covid-19.

“In his new role as Aramex Oceania CEO, Peter will be instrumental in ensuring the network continues to grow and innovate to meet global demand in delivery.”

Sydney-based Lipinski has been part of the courier firm’s management team since 2010, with experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing and supply chain industries.
