Beefy’s Pies, the business bought by Retail Food Group almost two years ago, has unveiled its first Gold Coast store at Coolangatta.
The new site is the fifth opened under RFG, and the brand’s 14th outlet. Expansion over the next month will see a new Morayfield store open and a second Gold Coast outlet in Oxenford as RFG heads towards its goal of 50 new Beefy’s stores by 2028.
Beefy’s current network spans south-east Queensland and northern New South Wales, with stores in Cannon Hill, Capalaba, Toowoomba, Ballina, Gympie, Traveston, Maroochydore, Buderim, Kawana, Aussie World, Glasshouse, Mango Hill and Ningi.
Taylor Sneddon, Beefy’s brand manager, said the Gold Coast launch responds to customer demand.
“We’ve had so many requests to bring Beefy’s to the GC, and we’re excited to share our pies with a whole new community,” Sneddon said.
The Coolangatta store will serve the brand’s award-winning signature blend coffee from 8am to 4pm alongside its full food menu.
For FY25 Beefy’s Pies reported $21.2 million in revenue, with network sales growth of 16.6 per cent and same store sales growth of 5.1 per cent. Beefy’s sold more than 1.3 million pies over the year.
