Motto Motto takes off with first airport site

Motto Motto Japanese Kitchen has opened its 15th franchise, and its first airport location, at Brisbane Domestic Airport.

The new outlet sits between major fast food chains McDonald’s and Red Rooster in the Virgin Terminal Food Court.

Motto Motto CEO Matt Fickling said “Launching at Brisbane Domestic Airport represents a significant milestone for our brand. Our mission is to become Australia’s favourite Japanese diner, and this extends to being a memorable part of our guest’s travel.”

The franchise store is a new collaboration between Motto Motto and SSP.

SSP is a global operator of QSR, dine-in cafes, lounges and food-led convenience stores principally in airports and train stations. It now operates more than 45 sites across Australia.

The collaboration between Motto Motto and SSP signifies a strategic partnership aimed at delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences in travel locations worldwide.

Motto Motto is introducing a fresh concept designed to cater to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks on the go. This will supplement brand’s the signature ramen, rice bowls and Japanese curry dishes.

The breakfast offer, Motto Mornings, features a Tokyo Roll with bacon, free-range eggs, wagyu beef, karaage chicken and tempura fish enclosed in a Japanese-style mini milk bun. Customers can add in a seaweed salted hash brown and customise their breakfast with a choice of sauces.

The breakfast menu also boasts barista-crafted coffees, Japanese-inspired freshly brewed iced teas, and freshly squeezed Queensland orange juice.
