Boutique fitness chain BFT has just been awarded a 5-star franchise rating following an independent assessment of the business.

BFT APAC CEO, Dave Aitchison said “BFT is thrilled with this result as it validates all of our hard work focusing on strong governance and our robust processes.

“It is also a brilliant reflection of the high quality franchisees within our network and the trust they have placed into the BFT product to bring a world class fitness experience to their local community. This is a strong sign for anyone looking to invest in a BFT franchise that we are a proven and high performing financial model within the fitness industry.”

5-star franchise rating shows brand success

The Australian Franchise Rating Scale rates a franchise after an in-depth review of seven categories.

FRANdata Australia manages the ratings process.

FRANdata’s Australian CEO Darryn McAuliffe said “The review evidenced a very successful franchise model across all categories measured. As expected, the strong trading performance across the network is delivering solid financial outcomes for individual franchisees.  In addition, feedback from the network reflected a high level of franchisee satisfaction, brand pride and positive forward sentiment.”

Overseas expansion for BFT franchise

BFT has embarked on a European expansion program, most recently appointing a brand champion to lead growth in Spain and Portugal.

Mid-2022 the business unveiled its UK strategy to sign up 50 studios within 12 months. The first London site opened in February 2023 following the launch of the brand in Leicester in October last year.
