Former RFG bakery and cafe divisional director Geoff Cockerill has joined Subway as country director for Australia and New Zealand.
Cockerill brings extensive experience from a number of international companies including Diageo and Kirin, as well as global brands including Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff and Corona.
“I’ve admired the success of the Subway brand for many years, and couldn’t be more excited to join the team. I’m looking forward to helping continue achieve the speed to market needed to drive the business forward,” said Cockerill.
Ian Martin, vice president of international at Subway, said Cockerill’s experience in organisational change and culture, strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and delivery of agreed results across large diverse teams and environments will be integral to his success at the sandwich giant.
